Christmas came early...........

For those that don't know me I have Fibromyalgia and suffer with something called Brain Fog. It is best described as early onset dementia or Alzheimers. I have the worst time remembering anything.

The one thing I do find fun about it is, when I order anything online by the time it arrives I have no idea what it is.

Today a box arrived and I was totally confused. I even checked with the Hubby to see had he ordered anything in my name. I had no idea what it was and didn't want to ruin a surprise if it was a Christmas present.

Well it was but not from the Hubby. It was from Nail Polish Direct. There was a Christmas Card thanking me for my custom and inside the box was a beautiful OPI Nail Polish case!!

A cute black box with a pink interior that can hold 24 polish bottles

It also has a large drawer for all your bits and bobs too.
I have no idea why they chose to send me this but am overjoyed they did.

I have used Nail Polish Direct a few times now and have found their service and customer service second to none. They are a wonderful company who stock lots of different brands of polish and make up also. Pay them a visit you won't be sorry you did.

Thanks for reading (if you did)

Why do I even bother.........

It occurred to me a while ago that people may think why does she bother with that blog when there are loads of people doing it and much better than her.

I did it as something to keep me entertained really as being stuck in my bedroom 24/7 tends to get a tad tedious.

Also though to show that even I with my kak handed application can make an ok job of painting my nails.

To give hope to those out there like I was thinking why am I even bothering. That you can do it with practise and at the end of the day if it makes you happy who cares if it is a bit rough around the edges.

Thanks so much for reading (if you did)

Rose Dawn by Glam Polish.

Received my first package of indie polishes in such a long time on Friday and fear it will be the first of many :0).

I follow Glam Polish on Facebook but didn't think I would ever have any as they are made in Australia.

Luckily I made a comment and they told me they were stocked on Rainbow Connection and now I know it will be a regular haunt :0).

Usually I am drawn to the purple shades as you can see from the haul above, but the first one to call to me was Rose Dawn. A beautiful pink which has great sparkles in the sun.
My basecoat was the pink gel coat followed by 2 coats of Rose Dawn topped off with Leighton Denny One for all and some very needed Avoplex cuticle oil. I wasn't going to add the pics with the ropey cuticles but I am sure you can see past that to the beautiful colour of the Rose Dawn :0).

Thanks so much for reading (if you did :0)) and I hope to do more soon (when I get the cuticles in order)
